Almost the weekend! Make a Shanghai Cocktail!
- 30ml/1fl oz vodka (or tequila for Bloody Marias).
- 125ml/4fl oz. tomato juice (or Clamato for Bloody Caesars).
- Worcestershire sauce.
- lemon juice.
- dill pickle juice
- Tabasco sauce.
- prepared horseradish
Mix 30ml of vodka, 125ml of tomato juice (or V8), 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, dill pickle juice, Tabasco sauce, horseradish sauce, celery salt, lemon juice and pepper and perhaps a slice of lemon/stick of celery for decoration.
Shake all the ingredients in a tumbler or balloon wine glass (balloon wine glasses are very large, stemmed wine glasses, holding about 300ml, used for the finest red wine or colourful, fruit-filled cocktails).
Pour into a glass filled with crushed ice.
